LG G3 is good to go: What are the networks offering?
LG's latest flagship device is just about ready for action, and UK fans of the Korean company may now just be a little over a week from being able to get their hands on the device.
The LG G3 is set to make its way to market in South Korea as of June 28th, before it becomes available around the world in the days that follow. UK buyers are predicted to be able to get themselves a G3 as soon as July 1st.
For smartphone fans, the device will pack a real punch, coming with a range of specifications that could see it challenge the big boys like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2.
A 13MP rear camera and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor will come with the phone, as well as the much celebrated quad HD screen - the first display of its kind to be seen on a smartphone anywhere in the world.
So with just over a week to go until the expected release date of the device, where are the best deals, what networks are on board and what are the operators going to offer you?
The biggest firm not partaking in the release is EE, which has confirmed that it will not be stocking the handset in the UK at all.
O2 will be stocking the device, however, and the company has said this week that it will be available as of "early July", so expect to be able to get your hands on the quad HD phone as of next Tuesday (July 1st) on either pay as you go or the company's most popular monthly contracts.
Another firm that has confirmed it will be stocking the device, Vodafone has yet to give any more details. Don't expect it to be too far behind O2, if at all, though.
By far the firm that has been the most open about the release of the device so far, Three has already opened up pre-orders for the LG G3, stating that those who place an order will be able to get themselves the handset as early as June 26th.
Tariffs on offer already include a number where the device itself will be free, starting at £35 per month - this gives you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data or unlimited minutes and texts plus 2GB of data.
