LG Arena software gets online widget

The user interface featured on the LG Arena KM900 and Viewty Smart has been put online for people to play with.

Announced this week, a downloadable widget has been made available that users can attach to their desktop in order to try the award-winning mobile phone system for themselves.

The move could tempt people to consider trading in used phones for a handset that boasts the system - known as the 3D S-Class UI.

LG said in a statement: "The widget can be rotated by dragging it with the mouse, the same experience as flipping from one home screen to another with a finger on an S-Class equipped phone."

Other models to come with the product installed include the upcoming GD900 Crystal, which is the world's first mobile phone to come with a transparent numerical keypad.
