Owners of the latest phones from BlackBerry can now access a new support network, it has been revealed.
The manufacturer of the line of business-friendly smartphones, Research In Motion (RIM), has unveiled details of a new technical help service that it hopes small and medium-sized companies will benefit from.
In addition to 24-hour aid with their handsets, subscribers to BlackBerry Technical Support Services will have access to web-based training and platforms for use in planning, management and preventative maintenance strategies.
Alan Panezic, vice-president of platform product management at RIM, said the firm had attempted to create a product that could be tailored to the individual needs of a business.
"We have developed a more comprehensive, flexible, scalable BlackBerry Technical Support Services programme that can help [...] enterprises keep pace with their evolving mobility needs," he added.
The group recently launched its new Cortado Corporate Server 4.0 enterprise application.
