Kogan releases Agora Android smartphone
A new entry-level mobile phone called the Kogan Agora is currently available for pre-order at just £119, and it could be ready for delivery in February.
The Australian manufacturer unveiled its latest handset at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, which has already hosted launches of the Huawei Mate and Sony Xperia Z.
Dual-SIM slots mean that consumers can take advantage of lower tariffs offered by different operators, so this device could be perfect for the budget-conscious.
The smartphone will be pre-installed with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and users can enjoy apps from Google Play on the five-inch screen.
Buyers can take photographs with the five-megapixel camera and utilise the front-facing snapper for video calls.
Pictures and other files will be stored on 4 GB of internal memory, but those that need to expand can do so by using the microSD card slot.
The gadget is likely to rival popular low-end smartphones like the Orange San Francisco 2 and Blackberry Curve 9320.
