Key Lime Pie may take a back step for other Android offerings
Google may not be preparing to launch Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie at the company event next month but may instead be releasing an Android 4.3 for mobile phones.
Sources have already indicated that the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 models run an updated 4.3 version of Jelly Bean not Key Lime Pie.
The report by Android Police says that the IP addresses trace back to two employees at Google headquarters although this should be taken with an element of scepticism.
Only last week did reports start to emerge that Key Lime Pie wasn't going to be unveiled at the Google I/O conference due to a delayed launch.
The rescheduled release date was reportedly to allow the search-engine's manufacturers time to deliver Jelly Bean to its already established devices.
However these details can often be fraudulent and nothing has been said either-way by the company so no one can be sure until the I/O conference next month.
