Jet Setters Could Benefit From Trading In Mobile For IPhone

Frequent air travellers may find trading-in their mobile and switching to the Apple iPhone is a wise move the next time they are affected by delays or cancellations.

After the significant disruption caused by the snow and ice that hit the UK in recent days, the Daily Telegraph has compiled a league table of airlines in terms of the app they offer customers.

Top of the pile is British Airways and Lufthansa, which the newspaper suggests go the extra mile to look after their passengers.

The former includes up-to-date travel information on its tool, while the German carrier provides details on the status of routes across Europe.

Also scoring well in the publication's assessment are Continental, KLM and Air France, while RyanAir and Aer Lingus are at the bottom as they do not offer an app.

One organisation to have recently launched a feature for the iPhone is Eurosport, which promises faster speeds and more content on its latest app.
