IPhone Most Commonly Used For Ordering Food

Apple's iPhone is the most popular way customers of one takeaway website order their food, it has been revealed.

When PC and Macs are not taken into account, the iPhone device is responsible for 58.7 per cent of orders, Just-Eat.co.uk said.

Other phones that made the list are the BlackBerry, with 5.04 per cent of the vote and Samsung mobile phones, with a share of 0.65 per cent.

Further down the list are Nokias and LG mobile phones, both taking 0.16 per cent.

"More than 40,000 people access our website every month using the iPhone web browser and we fully expect the iPad to exceed this after launching at the end of this month," explained David Buttress, managing director of Just-Eat.co.uk.

Apple's iPhone is also popular with companies. Smartphone Daily recently revealed the popularity of the device means many businesses are giving them to employees as work handsets to keep them happy.
