iOS 7 beta handed to developers
Apple has given certain developers the latest beta version of its upcoming operating system for mobile phones.
The update shows some minor changes in iOS 7 such as some altered icons and an extra setting in the control centre, according to 9t05Mac. One of the more noticeable changes is that the blue images in the settings menu have been replaced by much more colourful icons.
The "slide to power off" is no longer edge-to-edge but it does still have the same colour scheme. The iOS 7 also gives users the ability to disable the new feature which will allow users to swipe from the bottom menu when you're in apps.
Users can also get quick access to features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and airplane mode without having to exit an app.
It's been expected that the new operating system will start to roll out next month (September) if not early October. With the regular beta updates now surfacing, showing only minor changes, it's likely that Apple is sticking to that release date.
