Individuals to recycle old mobiles so they can buy a Droid 2?
Mobile enthusiasts may want to recycle their old handsets so they can use the cash to buy a Droid 2.
Motorola's latest offering is a follow on from its Droid X and features an enhanced qwerty keyboard.
Customers will be able to download apps from Android Market and will have more than 70,000 applications to choose from.
The handset has 8 GB of memory and mobile users can double this with an 8 GB microSD card if they wish.
Chief marketing officer of Motorola Mobile Devices and Home Business, Bill Ogle, remarked: "We listened to consumers and are providing an even more robust experience built on Android 2.2 that includes a new keyboard, increased processing power and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
He noted the device also has 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities too.
A recent review on CNET UK stated the Motorola Flipout may be an ideal choice for those who like to communicate via social networking sites, as it has live widgets, meaning users do not have to open up new pages.
