Mobile fans in the capital may be tempted to sell their old mobiles in order to raise cash to by an iPhone to take advantage of an updated travel app.
In an article for Know Your Mobile, Richard Goodwin said the London Tube app for iPhones has just had a makeover.
He noted the application now has a whole range of new features and has information on the Barclays Cycle Hire Scheme.
"In-app Cycle Hire features include the ability to locate the nearest Cycle Dock with your GPS and find the closest Cycle Hire points on a map," Mr Goodwin added.
He also explained the feature now has some augmented reality updates that gives mobile users the opportunity to search for point of interests around them using Google Maps.
Earlier this week, an app that may persuade health-conscious individuals to sell their old mobile to buy an iPhone was launched.
Kim Maes created the Cook IT Allergy Free app after her husband and son was diagnosed with coeliac disease.
The app has hundreds of recipes suitable for those who have to adhere to a gluten-free diet and is ideal for those who suffer with food allergies too.
