Increasing popularity of Motorola could be reason to sell mobiles
Britons could be hoping to sell their mobile phones once they realise just how popular Motorola has become.
The handset manufacturer has revealed its latest financial results for the third quarter of 2011, which show its net revenue increased by 11 per cent compared to the same period last year.
In addition, it was found that Motorola shipped 11.6 million devices over the three months, which included 4.8 million smartphones.
Sanjay Jha, chairman and chief executive officer at Motorola Mobility, said: "With the recent launch of our iconic Motorola Razr, we now have several 4G long-term evolution devices in our portfolio."
With more people seemingly opting to invest in one of the brand's phones, others could feel assured that a Motorola is a trendy choice after selling a mobile.
Motorola recently confirmed the launch of the Droid Razr device exclusively for consumers in Australia, noting that it marks the start of a comeback for the Razr brand that was popular between 2004 and 2006.
