HTC Sense offered on two handsets
HTC Sense has been unveiled and it has been suggested that it will take Android handsets to the next level.
Two new smartphones - the HTC Legend and HTC Desire - will offer the HTC Sense, which promises to make handsets work in a more natural way allowing the user to organise specific social circles, such as groups of friends, family and colleagues in a way that makes sense.
Facebook, Twitter and Flickr are said to be "seamlessly" combined through the new HTC application called Friend Stream.
Peter Chou, chief executive officer of HTC Corporation, said: "HTC Legend and HTC Desire take Android to another level in both substance - with HTC Sense - and style, with HTC Legend's revolutionary crafted aluminum unibody design."
Consumers may be tempted to upgrade to one of the new handsets and might find that mobile recycling allows them to get the money to do so.
The new HTC Legend will be available in Europe through Vodafone and in the direct channel beginning in April.
