HTC One Camera Fixes Coming In Android Update

HTC has promised that the next update for its One mobile phone will include fixes for a number of issues with its camera.

The Ultrapixel feature has been criticised for tinting photos when images are captured in low-light conditions. However, the company has promised that the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 update will find a solution for the problem.

HTC has been aware of the problem for a while, with the company encouraging users to turn down the ISO levels to reduce the prominence of the bug or customers are welcome to return their HTC One and get a replacement handset.

This is good news for users as there is still no news about when the Taiwanese manufacturer will release the latest version of the Android operating system.
HTC told HDBlog.it that it had received "isolated reports" of purple colours appearing on images taken with the Ultrapixel camera.

"After examining the internal relations, we are planning a software update that will improve the contrasts of colour in low light conditions," added the firm.
