HTC Doubling Production To Meet One Demand

Although high demand should be a good problem for any business to have, it appears HTC is having a rough time trying to fulfil the orders for its One mobile phone.

Demand has been so high for the company's flagship handset, the HTC One, that the firm is struggling to maintain its supply chains.

Before it was first released the device suffered a setback because the Taiwanese company wanted to bulk up the amount of stock it had prepared before launch and it faced issues sourcing the camera components.

Last week it was reported that AT&T was selling the HTC First for $0.99 to try and get rid of the Facebook Home-enabled handset and would be sending the rest back to the company.

It seems no surprise, therefore, that HTC is pushing its flagship device to make up for potential losses with the Facebook phone.

However, if the company can't gain control on its orders it may see it losing customers to upcoming rivals like the Google Galaxy S4, which was announced at the firm's I/O conference last week.
