Googles Nexus 5 Leaked In Files

Google has been at the heart of many news headlines this week, with the release of Hummingbird and its upcoming Nexus mobile phone. However, it is the latter that takes the focus today (October 3rd).

Android Community managed to get its hands on some files from Myce which have leaked more details of the next Android operating system KitKat 4.4.

According to the files, the Google Nexus 5 will carry some advanced camera features, including the ability to re-focus photos in post and technology which could enable faster focusing in the first place.

It is thought the Nexus 5's camera will be an eight-megapixel shooter but, according to this latest leak, it won't have backside illumination and optical image stabilisation.

There is nothing remarkable about the information so far, but it's the other features which could make the Nexus 5's camera noteworthy. It is thought that the camera could sport MEMS technology which gives a number of benefits like seven times faster focusing power.

It also allows users to incredibly re-focus photographs after they have been taken, as well as use less battery.
