Google Introduces Starring To Simplify Searches

Google has announced new measures that aim to make searching the internet a more efficient process.

According to its blog, computer users looking for "car reviews" would be able to flag up sites they like the look of with a star and then use their mobile phone to carry out the same search and view the starred items at the top of the page.

The search engine giant has revealed that users of Apple's iPhones and iPod Touch, Palm WebOS devices and Android handsets will be able to benefit from the move.
