Get a Nokia Asha 501 for £65
After leaks arrived earlier in the week, Nokia has decided to officially unveil its Asha 501 mobile phone.
The handset is the Finnish company's attempt to hit a more budget-conscious audience and in its bright colour options it may even be targeted toward younger users.
Nokia's Asha 501 won't run Microsoft's operating system Windows Phone 8 and isn't out to steer people away from its Lumia devices, but appeal to a different audience.
The device has very modest features with a 3-inch display and 3.2 mega-pixel camera but it is Wi-Fi enabled and has a 1,200mAh battery.
However, the Nokia Asha 501 can run social network sites like Facebook, Twitter and FourSquare and also supports various games.
It's obvious the new handset isn't going to break any records or set the smartphone market ablaze, but it does provide another option for people that don't want to fork out the big prices for the latest high-spec smartphones which become out-of-date within months of release.
