Galaxy Nexus Upgrade Could Reassure Potential Mobile Recycling Users

The Galaxy Nexus could be a phone that persuades many people to recycle mobiles in order to upgrade to it.

However, following its release, a number of users in Europe complained that there had been some volume issues with the device.

As such, its manufacturer has moved quickly to fix any problems and is planning to launch a new software upgrade that will solve the matter.

Google told Engadget Mobile that it hopes to distribute the solution among owners of the handset soon, stating: "We're currently rolling out a fix for the volume issue which will reach everyone in the coming week."

News of the action may reassure those who are planning to switch to the hi-tech model.

Business Insider recently told how the Galaxy Nexus, which is already available to UK consumers, will appear on the shelves in the US during December, with pricing and plans still to be confirmed.
