Dog owners 'have plenty to gain from mobile trade in'
Dog owners – and even those who simply walk a canine friend for somebody else – could have plenty to gain should they trade in their mobile and use the chance to invest in an iPhone.
Bob Tedeschi, writing for the New York Times, explains there is a plethora of apps designed for animal lovers.
There are titles devised for enjoyment – such as Squeaky Fun Time and Dog Whistler – as well as programs with a serious side, notably Pet First Aid.
But it is not only a pooch that is likely to benefit from the adoption of an Apple handset, as some tools can help owners too.
For example, Mr Tedeschi states Dog Park Finder is a useful feature that offers tips on the best places to go for a stroll with a dog.
Apple this week announced the launch of its new iPad 2 – an option for tablet fans looking to move away from mobiles.
