Cash in on used mobile to aid purchase of "enticing" iPhone 4
The new Apple iPhone 4 could entice Brits to recycle old mobilephones when it is launched at the end of the month.
Apple has remodelled the popular handset, giving it a sleek new look with a flat glass back cover to replace the plastic curved casing of previous designs, as well as sophisticated steel around the edges.
Flora Graham, reviewer for Cnet.com, claimed that book lovers and avid online surfers may be especially interested in the upgrade, due to its 960-by-640-pixel high-definition screen.
"It's a case of the more pixels the merrier as far as e-books and web pages are concerned too. That's good news given the revelation that Apple's e-book app, iBooks, is coming to the iPhone from the iPad," she explained.
The improved screen has also allowed Apple to introduce a new app, called FaceTime, which uses Wi-Fi and the device's front-mounted camera to connect users by video calls.
