Cash for phones could fund improved motoring experience with LV=
14/04/2011
Consumers have been urged to trade in mobiles for cash in a bid to enjoy a new app launched by insurance company LV=.
The firm has launched a tool specially for the Apple iPhone that has a multitude of applications and functions.
Users will enjoy access to traffic maps, local diagrams, a car profile function and an accident toolkit – all of which could result in a stronger state of mind when hitting the road.
Paul Wishman, ecommerce director at the organisation, said: "We opted to create an app with a difference that offers a service that could be used in different situations."
LV= My Car will also enable mobile phone owners to access the company directly – perhaps in order to sign up to a new policy.
Rough Guides has also this week announced a new range of apps, each focusing on a different city around the world and providing up-to-date information and tips.
