Broadband fans could sell mobiles to join Nokia Siemens
Those who rate their broadband connection as a priority might wish to sell mobile phones and switch to a deal with Nokia.
That is because the company has confirmed it is putting mobile internet to the top of its list of priorities and at the heart of its latest strategy.
It believes that by focusing on mobile broadband, it can retain its market competitiveness in the long term and increase its profits.
"We believe that the future of our industry is in mobile broadband and services - and we aim to be an undisputed leader in these areas," said Rajeev Suri, chief executive officer at Nokia Siemens Networks
He went on to suggest the company's aim is to become the most efficient mobile operator in the world.
Strategy Analytics recently predicted that some 525 million mobiles and smartphones around the world will be connected to the internet within the next five years.
