Britons who 'sell my mobile' could be best placed to fight dementia
Selling a mobile phone and putting the money towards an Apple iPhone is one way for people to launch their fight against dementia.
Bupa has revealed that a brand new app for the model – BrainyApp – has been launched to help people track their mental state.
It is designed to reduce the risk of dementia as it allows iPhone owners to monitor their mental health and flags up any potential concerns.
The app has already become the most popular free tool in the Australian and New Zealand markets, knocking Facebook off top spot.
Jeremy Hughes, chief executive of the Alzheimer's Society, said: "Most people know how to reduce their risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke but they don't realise that the same healthy lifestyle choices may also lower the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease."
Nokia Conversations this week told of the success of the ESPN Goals app, which it recommended as an ideal option for those wishing to keep up with the latest sports news and scores.
