Booking a holiday could be easier after trading in mobiles
Trading in mobile phones in favour of a newer handset might be one option for those who like to rely on the internet when it comes to securing a holiday.
Research by sunshine.co.uk has concluded that more than half (54 per cent) of Britons now use technology in some way prior to a trip abroad.
The most popular option is to visit review sites on the internet, while social media platforms and travel guides are also widely used.
All of these can be accessed by people who own the latest mobile phones with a reliable broadband connection.
Chris Brown, co-founder of the travel company, said: "Research is a vital part of booking a holiday. Word of mouth recommendations can often be few and far between, so don’t be afraid to do your homework."
Nokia Conversations recently revealed the Finnish brand has updated its Ovi Maps service, meaning it is now ideal for planning a break in a foreign land.
