BlackBerry 10 Laguna specs leak
Documents allegedly detailing specs of the upcoming BlackBerry 10 (BB10) L-series mobile phone 'Laguna' have been leaked.
The handset will apparently have a 4.2-inch, 1,280 x 720 resolution display, eight-megapixel camera, 1,800 mAh battery, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
According to the leak, the device will support Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, which means users can connect to high-speed 4G networks.
EE (Everything Everywhere) is expected to launch its 4G network in the UK soon.
It should also have Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which allows owners to use their handset as an e-wallet.
NFC is becoming increasingly popular among manufacturers as consumers look for more smartphone functions for ultimate convenience.
In its L-series, BlackBerry is expected to steer clear of its token keyboard and follow the crowd by having full touchscreen devices.
The smartphone should be powered by the upcoming BB10 operating system, which Research in Motion (RIM) showcased at the Jam Americas Conference on September 25th.
