Apple supplier preparing for iPhone 6
Apple's upcoming mobile phones are often the subject of rumours and the iPhone 6 is no different.
Taiwanese company Pegatron Corporation, which is a key supplier for the upcoming Cupertino flagship, is reportedly getting ready to produce the iPhone 6.
According to the Commercial Times, the manufacturer has opened up a new factory space on the outskirts of Shanghai, as well as hiring plenty of new staff to get the smartphone on shelves in time for its expected June launch.
The newspaper couldn't name its sources but claims that this sudden increase in activity is directly linked to the imminent arrival of the iPhone 6.
This supports previous rumours that Apple is making sure its suppliers are getting ready for the task ahead. We've heard before that manufacturers of the chips expected to be in the iPhone 6 are also stepping up production in the second quarter of 2014.
