Apple iPhone users get service boost
If you are looking to sell your mobile phone to pay for an Apple iPhone 3G S, you may welcome the latest news from one operator.
This week, it was announced that O2 would be pumping more money into its UK network in a bid to improve services for all of its customers and improve data facilities.
The company explained that this would involve "hundreds of millions of pounds" worth of investment and the development of 200 new sites in the London area alone.
O2's chief technology officer Derek McManus commented that it was not the first time the company had put money in to giving its users the most up-to-date technology possible.
He explained: "Our £500 million investment over the last two years has enabled us to offer our customers the best products in the world, including the Apple iPhone and Palm Pre."
Earlier this month, the operator added Sky Sports to the range of services it was offering Apple handset subscribers.
