Apple iPhone app YouTube Capture released
Google has released a new Apple iPhone app called YouTube Capture, which is available to download through the App Store for free.
Users can easily record video and then use editing tools to add a soundtrack, trim or stabilise the footage, and correct the colour.
Creations can then be uploaded to the YouTube website, and shared on social networks Facebook, Twitter and Google+ simultaneously with just a few taps.
The app is compatible with the iPhone 3GS model or newer, and more than 100 customers have already given it a 4.5-star rating on iTunes.
Developers are reportedly working on bringing Capture to handsets running the Android platform.
In the upgrade to its latest operating system iOS 6, the American manufacturer stopped pre-installing Google tools YouTube and Maps to its devices.
The video sharing tool was released shortly after the software roll out, but the navigation app was only available again last week.
