Apple iPhone 3G S gets TV on the go
Consumers looking to sell mobile devices for an Apple iPhone 3G S may welcome a new application that has been announced.
Sky TV unveiled a new software download this week that can be accessed via the App Store that allows users to watch a number of its premium channels for a monthly fee of £6.
The company explained that once the app has been installed on the iPhone and subscribers have attained a user ID, a range of channels can be selected that could mean there is no need to miss certain events.
Among the channels available are Sky Sports, Sky Sports News, Sky News, ESPN and At The Races and David Gibbs, general manager for mobile at the firm, said the "high quality viewing experience" is also likely to impress.
"Sky Mobile TV offers more choice, control and flexibility for customers ensuring they can access the content they want, at a time that's convenient to them, on the screen of their choosing," he added.
The Apple iPhone is the fastest-selling device O2 has ever offered to UK customers, according to a recent blog post.
