Apple files patent which could improve iPhone photography
Apple has filed a patent concerning camera software which would automatically process image quality in order to present iPhone owners with superior snaps.
The technology would continuously capture snaps and then inspect features to present the user with the shot that is sharpest.
Alternatively, owners could be presented with a reel of photos from which they personally select their favourite.
These requests for intellectual property suggest that the American manufacturer is taking measures to provide its customers with a superior camera function.
More companies are focussing on this aspect, as buyers increasingly place importance on having the ability to snap and share high-quality images.
The Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 gadget boats some of the most impressive specifications, including optical image stabilisation technology which reduces blur.
BlackBerry has also set out to improve photography software in its latest operating system, offering the Time Shift feature to ensure blink-free group shots.
