Addict tariff from Virgin Mobile can give unlimited texts
02/04/2009
The Addict tariff from Virgin Mobile gives users unlimited texts and mobile internet usage if they buy £20 of credit each month.
Calls to networks and landlines are a flat rate of 20p and there is a cap of 3,000 texts and 1 GB for those who decide to go for the payment plan.
With the help of five-piece girl band The Saturdays, the tariff was launched using the theme of Robert Palmer's 1980s hit music video Addicted to Love.
Mobile phone customers who spend £15 using Addict can benefit from 600 free texts, although they will have to pay 30p per day for internet.
A tenner's worth of credit gets 300 texts - but it is 30p as a daily extra for web usage.
Fans of The Saturday's might know that lead singer Una Healy won a Virgin Media Music Award last year. She beat Rihanna to win the title of hottest female.
