Rumours Of Samsung Galaxy F Increase QHD Display Speculation

Leaked pictures have emerged allegedly showing off the upcoming and long rumoured Samsung Galaxy F, which could be the first smartphone in the entire world to be packed with the ultra high definition Quad HD (QHD) display.

Those who have already pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S5 - the Korean firm's soon to be released flagship model - may need to trade their phones in to get a hold of the new device, which would be Samsung's first foray into what could become known as a 'super-premium' marketplace.

Leaked images appearing online allege to show the Samsung Galaxy F, which would come with a 2k resolution, just days after GFXBench leaked details of a new smartphone from the company that packs a punch with a 2560 x 1440 display.

Details, aside from the screen itself, have been fairly thin on the ground so far when it comes to Samsung's planned Galaxy F phone, but the leaks from WindyLeak between April 4th and April 6th have shown the handset in a clearer light.

So far, it appears to be fitted with a 5.2-inch QHD display, and it is thought that it will be built from more premium materials - the source of the original rumours of the phone's existence.

It had been hoped that the Samsung Galaxy S5 would be built with something more than the plastic shell that has housed all of the company's flagships to date, but this was dashed before its release, and led immediately to the belief that Samsung was working on something more upmarket.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy F would be housed in a metal frame, while its interior would be as impressive and premium as its outer design.

Rumours from various sources have predicted that the phone will have a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and a whopping 3GB of RAM which would assist the resolution on the screen.

The rumours come just days before Samsung gets set for the worldwide launch of its flagship Galaxy S5 on April 11th.
