Recycling mobile phones could fall under government review
Mobile phone recycling may soon be further encouraged as part of new plans revealed by the government.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has announced it will carry out a full investigation of England's waste policy and will look into issues such as maximising the amount of money made from recycling and waste.
Consumers could help to protect the environment and earn money for themselves by recycling their old mobile phones for cash with Mazuma.
Environment secretary Caroline Spelman said the country gradually improved recycling rates
"The direction of travel is right - it's the pace that's the problem. We need to go faster and we need to go further," she added.
Recycle Now has recently unveiled its plans for Recycle Week, taking place from June 21st to 27th , which will allow people to discover more about the wide range of electrical items that it is possible to recycle.
