Nokia 6700 Classic 'reminds you of a simpler time'
The latest mobile phones are not always to everyone's tastes, which is where one reviewer has claimed the Nokia 6700 Classic comes in.
In a world where touchscreen handsets are backed by the most up-to-date features and gizmo's, Cnet's Flora Graham said the Finnish manufacturer has launched a model that bucks this trend.
The stainless steel casing of the gadget was singled out for praise and the reviewer said it's sturdy, reliable feel is tantamount to having "a trustworthy friend" in your hand.
In addition, Ms Graham noted the 2.2-inch screen - although admittedly small - was "bright and beautiful" and overall the simple device was "a lovely object to hold".
However, those looking for something a little more high-tech might be interested in Softpedia's recent review of the Sony Ericsson W508, which concluded the device "is a pretty decent clamshell, with nice multimedia features".
