Mobile recycling an option worth considering for travellers?
Travel lovers could wish to consider selling their old mobile phone in order to make use of Nokia Ovi Maps.
Consumers may find the application helps them find their way to a destination and also helps them navigate a strange place on foot, thanks to a series of directions.
Nokia Conversations Blog has taken a closer look at how users of the app might make the best use of the service - while also staying safe - in a city they are unfamiliar with.
It suggests that users should find somewhere safe to sit in order to plot their route and then plug in their headphones and put their phone in their pocket or bag.
"Then walk to your destination as if you'd walked the route 100 times, listening to the sound of your chosen satnav voice whispering sweet navigational directions in your ear as you go," it suggests.
A recent Nokia poll found that 28 per cent of respondents were most looking forward to the introduction of next-gen graphics on mobile phones.
