Green phone users can recycle a mobile and change to Nokia
Consumers may wish to do their bit for the environment by recycling a used mobile and selecting a Nokia device as its replacement.
The Finnish telecommunications firm has indicated its handsets will now be equipped with Eco Profiles - a feature that allows users to keep up-to-date with the phone's emissions and energy consumption.
Nokia confirmed it is committed to providing eco-friendly mobiles, with each product created with the environment in mind.
Over the last decade, the company has achieved a 65 per cent reduction in the environmental impact its phones have - perhaps thanks to the introduction of power-saving modes on smartphones.
Those who are considering mobile recycling with Mazuma may be interested to learn that 100 per cent of the materials used by Nokia to make each handset can currently be reused.
Every day, more than 1.2 billion people across the world connect to a Nokia device, ranging from phones to mobile computers.
