Businesses could trade in mobiles for cash to buy iPhones

UK businesses could trade in their mobiles for cash, which can be put towards buying a number of Apple iPhones.

This may be a particularly shrewd commercial decision if the words of Christian Louca are to be believed, with the expert stating the device has shown the advertising industry the potential of promotion through handsets.

Mr Louca, managing director at mobile marketing firm YOC UK, says advertising through apps is the latest trend and is already a significant success.

"The iPhone is an exciting platform. There is no denying that it has helped to show the industry what can be achieved," he explains.

Companies currently in possession of other phones could get cash for their mobiles with Mazuma and use it to invest in Apple iPhones.

Alternatively, those interested in the US market could choose to advertise through Symbian, which has double the click-through rate of Apple in the States.
