Vodafone gives SME mobile phone customers BlackBerry boost
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking for mobile phones for their employees could consider a new offer from Vodafone.
The network operator has launched its BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express scheme, which gives companies secure access to email and organiser facilities for as little as £10 per month.
Businesses can synchronise their BlackBerry mobile phones with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Windows Small Business Servers to allow their staff to keep up to date while on the move.
Peter Boucher, marketing director for enterprise at Vodafone UK, said: "We have strong established partnership with RIM and know it's vital for all businesses to stay connected to their customers wherever they are, either by voice or email."
Vodafone is also offering reduced roaming rates for consumer and business customers who plan to go abroad this summer, as well as a special service for those heading to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup.
