T-Mobile Pulse surprises reviewer
Trusted Reviews has looked a new device that may fit within the budgets of many people looking to sell mobilephones to fund a replacement device.
Equipped with the Google Android operating system, the T-Mobile Pulse follows other gadgets to the market like the similarly branded G1, as well as the Hero, and Magic.
However, where all of these smartphones were built by HTC, this new model is put together by Chinese manufacturer Huawei - which the site explained had not been as stingy with the extra features as one might expect.
In the piece, Edward Chester said the handset was available for around £180 on pay-as-you-go, but was still able to boast a screen that would give the Apple iPhone 3G a run for its money.
"For T-Mobile to make a smartphone so cheap it seemed impossible for it not to have cut some essential corners. However, nothing could have been further from the truth," he concluded.
The Pulse has a 3.5-inch screen, microSD support, a 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and an integrated media player.
