Mobile Phones Come Naturally To Todays Children

Selling an old mobile phone for cash with Mazuma might provide parents with the money they need to keep up with their children's demand for new technology.

Recent research from Halifax suggested an average of £383 is spent by children in the UK every year on new technology including mobile phones.

Many parents may feel that it is important for their child to have a mobile phone in order to keep track of their whereabouts.

The survey revealed almost three quarters of children own a mobile phone - 74 per cent - with bills averaging £104.04 per year.

However, a recent announcement could also calm concerns about the safety of a child using a mobile phone.

An agreement between Motorola and Bipper Communications aims to help parents manage their child's approved number list and monitor how and when the mobile is used via an "easy-to-use" portal website.
