HTC Hero 'a cheaper option than the iPhone'
If you are looking for cash for your mobile, recycling can be one option - and two reviews have emerged which may tempt those considering a replacement model.
The HTC Hero, which is only the third to be launched in the UK with Google's Android operating system, was compared to one of its fiercest competitors this week - the iPhone 3G S.
Niall Magennis of Trusted Reviews said although the user interface of the HTC model was nowhere near as slick as the one featured on Apple's newest handset, there was still a lot to like about it.
"The Hero shows that [Android is] now fully up to speed. Make no mistake, the Hero really is a fabulous phone and its price is very attractive compared to the expensive iPhone," he concluded.
In other news, Marc Lynde said in a piece for Mobile Burn that the Motorola A455 Rival was a phone that combined a full qwerty keyboard and 3.5mm headphone socket all in one compact package that would interest "a youthful audience".
