Be careful switching energy providers, consumers told

Those looking to recycle old mobilephones may be interested to hear of one expert's advice for consumers to be careful before switching energy providers.

An article on Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert.com suggested that it is probably best not to change company immediately as the price cuts that have been taking place over the past few weeks may not be finished yet.

"As energy providers have a herd mentality, this trend [of price reductions] is likely to continue, so more cuts are likely to be announced soon," the piece reads.

MoneySavingExpert.com has a special guide to mobile phone recycling, claiming it to be a "no hassle way" for people to make money from handsets that are going unused.
