Trade in mobiles for increased learning opportunities
People who trade in their mobile phones and switch to the best devices on the market are likely to enjoy greater potential to up their levels of education.
David Patterson, director and consultant at e-learningcentre.co.uk, explained that the arrival of 3G networks and smartphones has turned the industry on its head.
He said the promise of being able to pick up new information and details on various subjects is now a reality.
"Our view is that m-learning will grow in usage and grow in popularity and importance and the e-learning industry is already very effectively unlocking the learning potential of these devices," Mr Patterson stated.
He said that tablets could be the perfect option for people who want to learn, perhaps making the Apple iPad 2 the ideal device.
Research in Motion, which produces BlackBerry mobiles, this week suggested it offers some high-class apps – which could include educational tools – as it is to offer these for free to customers affected by its recent service blackout.
