Keen travellers should consider selling their mobile phones and replacing them with one of the latest smartphones, as these will allow them to get more from holidays.
Mark Caswell, editor of businesstraveller.com, explains an increasing number of people are using their handsets to access websites related to their trips.
"As people are more comfortable with using the internet on their mobile phone they're then going to be making bookings and online purchases in the same manner," he states.
The expert suggests it is a simple progression towards searching, confirming, researching holidays and business ventures overseas via a handheld device.
To take advantage of the technology now available to people on the go, selling a mobile may be the ideal way to raise the funds for a smartphone purchase.
