Samsung H1 to feature as sponsorship focus
One of the latest handsets to tempt people selling mobile phones for cash is to be the focus of a new campaign.
In order to promote its new 360 service, which is designed to bring together contacts, social networking and other communicative tools in one place, Vodafone has announced it will be sponsoring an upcoming rugby match.
On December 27th, Harlequins will take on Wasps in a Guinness Premiership clash at Twickenham, with the network backing the event alongside Samsung - the manufacturer behind the new H1.
Mark Mitchinson, vice-president of Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland, said: "It's ... the perfect platform for Vodafone 360 and the Samsung H1 handset which will undoubtedly resonate with the thousands of fans attending The Big Game 2."
This could lead to some people considering mobile recycling, perhaps trading in used Samsung devices like those in the Omnia series to purchase the H1.
