Samsung Galaxy Mega combines tablet and smartphone
Samsung's latest handset may see the merging of smartphone and tablet, rather than just a regular portable mobile phone.
Leaks have been published for both the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 regarding some of their specifications.
The next in the company's line of massive devices doesn't seem to offer anything more than users already have in other Galaxy handsets.
Version 5.8 will be a dual-sim smartphone with either 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly Bean, an eight mega-pixel camera, along with back cameras, 1.5 GB of memory, 2,600 mAh battery, a 1.4 GHz processor and 5.8-inch display, according to the SamMobile site.
The Mega 6.3 will also have the same front and back cameras and a dual-core Exynos processor, according to Korean site Daum. It is expected that the handset will come in both black and white.
The 6.3 will literally stretch the definition of a portable device as at 6.3 inches it is practically the size of the iPad mini.
However these rumours have not been confirmed by Samsung and customers will probably have to wait some time before the company releases official specifications.
