Racing game could encourage consumers to upgrade their mobile phone
Gadget fans could wish to consider selling an old mobile phone in order to upgrade to a new handset with downloadable games.
One game that could tempt consumers towards an upgrade allowing them to play games on their handset is Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing.
Gaming fans will instantly see the similarities between the game and Nintendo's hugely popular Mario Kart games, as just like that title the company's flagship character and a host of others compete in races.
These include Sega favourites such as Sonic, Tails, Dr Robotnik and Knuckles as well as more unexpected inclusions such as Ryo from Dreamcast title Shenmue.
Know Your Mobile states that although the inclusion of old characters might not be enough to excite the average gamer, "the racing is fun enough in itself... and takes the Sega theme one step further by building the game's tracks from similarly popular game environments".
Another racing title, Volkswagen Think Blue Challenge, has recently been released for the Apple iPhone.
