Quechua partners with Archos
Quechua has teamed up with French manufacturer Archos to build a brand new, heavy-duty Android mobile phone.
The Quechua Phone, in order to inspire your sense of adventure, has been built with conquering the outdoors at its heart. The company has marketed the device that can guard against rain, snow, sand, mud, cold, snow and being dropped.
It is a five-inch handset that comes running Android 4.1 and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD slot. The Quechua Phone also has a five-megapixel camera for all those outdoors photos.
The phone also comes with IP54 certification and is powered by an incredible 3,500mAh battery, allowing you plenty of time to go out exploring without having to worry about charging your handset back up.
It will arrive on December 5th and will set users back 230 euros (£190). However, there is no news yet about whether it will make it out of its French homeland to reach other markets.
