Poll could inform Nokia 5800 shoppers
With handsets like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Sony Ericsson W995 on the market, some people recycling mobile phones may face a struggle in selecting the model that is right for them.
However, a new survey of readers of the Nokia Conversations website, which specialises in news and reviews on the Finnish firm's latest innovations, has sought to address this.
The results of the poll - designed to find what people most want in a handset that boasts audio-focused facilities - showed 21 per cent of respondents believed battery power to be the most essential feature.
"I travel long hours with the type of work that I have and mostly I got my phone's music player as my company, I want it to last at least 24 hours nonstop," one reader said.
A further 19 per cent said good speakers were important for a multimedia device, while the main focus of the 16 per cent who chose "other" appeared to be sound quality.
Dedicated music controls, amplifiers, headphones memory capacity, downloads, FM radios and Bluetooth were the other categories in the study.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is available as part of the firm's Comes With Music package.
