Owning Facebook-enabled mobile phone may bring further benefits
Social networking fans may find owning a mobile phone that enables them to access Facebook soon brings even more advantages than it currently does.
That is because, according to Neil Stapley of Dadooda Limited, the popular website has a "real possibility" of buying its rival MySpace.
The industry expert believes there is a good chance News Corporation has gone to some lengths to prepare a takeover.
"It will be interesting to see what will happen if the deal doesn't meet the expectations of MySpace. Will they be bought out by Facebook? I think it's a very real possibility," explains Mr Stapley.
In such a scenario, social networking users may be wise to own a mobile that allows both the sites to work, ensuring access to the Facebook-run portals.
The prospect of a takeover follows comments made in a recent MySpace blog that revealed it is to team up with Facebook for a 'mashup' project, designed to allow users of the rival networks to combine their accounts.
